For this reason species have developed the means for storing energy, in the form of fat, to protect themselves during periods of food shortage or starvation. In few words, they have learned how to flip on their “fat switch”. Species that had the ability to improve their fat storage capacity had the best chance to survive during times of famine.

GlobesityHumans, as part of kingdom ‘Animalia’, were genetically programmed to put on fat whenever there is food available so that we could burn that fat for fuel during the next famine or during an extremely cold winter. How poor digestion affects your weightPoor digestion can interfere with a person getting nutrients from the foods he or she eats.     It may not be the easiest and fastest way to lose weight, but unlike many diets it works! I’ve lost 16 pounds already. What’s unique about this method is that it is a comprehensive approach to the anti-diet mentality.     It’s so sickening that the food on our plates has become pure science – each processed milligram tweaked and sweetened for maximum palatability. (HFCS), or glucose-fructose has now pumped into every conceivable food and most people are clueless about it! Coke in the US swapped from sugar to HFCS (because it’s cheaper than sugar) and as a market leader, Coke’s decision sent a message of endorsement to the rest of the industry, which quickly followed suit. Pathetic!

    I totally agree with you ED! Now, what about meat… Commercial meat is potentially dangerous to your health as it contains very high levels of sex hormones. The practice of implanting cattle with sex hormones prior to entering the feed lot, about 100 days prior to slaughter, has a financial objective as it increases the meat weight, and hence profits, by about 10 percent, for very little additional cost.

We need microbes and worms to release the minerals our brains and bodies need to work properly. Industrial farming KILLS those microbes and worms. In short, we are experiencing malnutrition with all you can eat… Because of industrial farming.

    I like the concept of “You must get what your body needs to shut off the fat storage and stop the cravings for empty calories… and the concept of “adding in” healthy foods rather than “restricting out” certain foods… Depriving yourself of the foods you absolutely love and can’t live without can backfire in the end!

    Thumbs up for the Gabriel method exercise program. I like the concept of interval training with alternate walking and running periods. It just makes sense… avoiding chronic fatigue, injury and fat deposition in all the wrong places. Fat deposition is generally gender specific; females deposit fat first in the hips and thighs whereas males generally gain first in the abdominal area.
